In 2021, the growing furniture maker Flexsteel underwent a major brick and mortar expansion as well as a full rebranding effort.

Boston-based agency Common Co. was brought in to develop a series of broadcast and digital spots to highlight just what makes Flexsteel so special. We helped the ECD with developing the key spots that anchor the campaign: “Lasting Comfort” + “Strength Inside”, and then produced and directed the shoots.

The first would be a strong family narrative to connect with consumers. A spot with moments of humor, sincerity, and joy. While the second spot would be a look behind the scenes at what goes into making Flexsteel’s beautiful and durable furniture.

The result? A successful entry into the retail space for Flexsteel, and a fresh connection to its customers.
